MBSE Virtual Open Days off to a strong start

The Moonstone Business School of Excellence’s Virtual Open Days began today with two well-attended sessions, featuring the Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning (NQF 6) and the Higher Certificate in Short-term Insurance (NQF 5). These sessions marked the start of the three-day event, which runs until 22 January.

Recognised by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, the programme prepares students for the Registered Financial Practitioner® (RFP®) designation through the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (NQF 8) webinar on 22 January will be led by Edel Goldbach, a highly experienced lecturer in the financial planning field.

This advanced qualification provides in-depth knowledge in areas such as risk, estate, investment, retirement, and tax planning. The programme is designed for graduates and professionals who wish to provide expert financial advice and work toward achieving the CFP® designation through a capstone programme with the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa.

The qualification offers four key modules: financial planning practice and ethics, personal financial planning, corporate financial planning, and an integrated case study. The programme is available full-time for one year or part-time for two years through MBSE’s online platform.

This session is ideal for graduates with an NQF Level 7 qualification or professionals with relevant experience who are ready to advance their financial planning careers. For those without an NQF Level 7 qualification but with five years of relevant experience and an Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning (NQF 6), MBSE’s Recognition of Prior Learning pathway provides an opportunity to bridge the gap and pursue this prestigious qualification.
