The Financial Intelligence Centre’s registration and reporting platform, goAML, will be unavailable from 5pm on Monday, 8 September, until midnight on Sunday, 14 September 2025.
The platform will be offline during the migration from goAML version 4.6 to version 5.4.
During the down time, all functionalities – including reporting, registration, and the message board – will be unavailable on the goAML platform.
The FIC asks accountable institutions and other users to ensure that all registration, reporting, and all other activities on goAML are concluded by 5pm on 8 September.
Any draft reports or other material left incomplete on the platform will be rejected, and they will have to be resubmitted using the goAML 5.4 schema after the migration.
Users are also reminded to download and save copies of all regulatory reports submitted before the migration for record-keeping purposes.
After midnight on 14 September, goAML 4.6 will no longer be available, and all users will have to use the new schema from 15 September.
Important for B2B reporters
Regardless of user acceptance testing (UAT) participation, all reports for submission to the FIC must be finalised by 5pm on 8 September. To support the transition to version 5.4 of goAML, the following resources are available in the FIC’s UAT staging environment:
- goAML EE FIC Schema Specification
- goAML EE Version 5.4 B2B Developers Guide_Detailed Technical Specification
Queries or requests for support on the upgrade process should be sent to goAMLupgrade@fic.gov.za
