As Moonstone Compliance continuously strives to add value to our clients, we are excited to announce the launch of our Employment Law Service, which provides comprehensive advice on managing all aspects of labour relations.

Whether you’re a listed corporate or an SMME, our Employment Law Service will ensure that your workplace procedures comply with legislation, from recruitment and selection to dismissal for misconduct, incapacity or operational requirements.

The new service is headed by Andrea de Jongh.

The service will also assist with debarment matters, ensuring that an FSP’s debarments conform to the FAIS Act and the FSCA’s Guidance Notice 1 of 2019.

Our Employment Law Service includes the following:

  • General industrial relations services, including drafting or reviewing of employment agreements, codes, policies and procedures.
  • Disciplinary matters and disputes, including chairing misconduct and incapacity hearings, together with drafting the outcomes, assisting with preparing matters to appear at the CCMA, Bargaining Council or Statutory Council, and advising on misconduct and incapacity matters.
  • Assisting with debarments, including the preparation of debarment notices, representation at debarment hearings, and the independent chairing of debarment hearings.
  • Employment equity services, such as designing and implementing employment equity strategies, policies and procedures, and the implementation of an employment equity committee.
  • Ongoing support and training.
