Bookings open for Moonstone’s regulatory risk register webinar

Posted on

Moonstone Compliance’s third webinar of this year will focus on regulatory risk registers as part of your organisation’s privacy governance programme.

The webinar will take place on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, 24 August, from 10am to 12.30pm.

It will be presented by Andrea de Jongh, Moonstone Compliance’s expert on privacy governance.

Regulatory risk registers are a fundamental part of any organisation’s risk process, irrespective of its size.

The webinar will give you an understanding of why a regulatory risk register is necessary. It will show you how to consider and incorporate Popia’s eight processing conditions into your regulatory risk register, while considering your justification grounds for processing personal information at each point within your compliance universe. This will enable you to understand your organisation’s level of non-compliance and then mitigate this through identifying appropriate and proportionate control measures.

The webinar will explain how cyber security becomes relevant as part of the steps of populating your regulatory risk register. It will look at what should occur at each stage and how best to identify and update the risks your enterprise faces.

By the end of the webinar, you should be able to complete the regulatory risk register, ensure that it is maintained to support resilience across your enterprise, and understand the building blocks of Popia.

This session will provide invaluable information for members of an organisation’s privacy governance team, information officers and key individuals, and anyone who is responsible for an organisation’s risk management.

The cost per person is R250 (excluding VAT) for Moonstone Compliance clients and R350 (excluding VAT) for non-clients.

Registration closes on 17 August, and payment must be received by 18 August.
