Online collaboration for financial advisers – Make Videosign part of your business process

Posted on

A recent Gartner poll showed that 48% of employees will likely work remotely at least part of the time after COVID-19 versus 30% before the pandemic. The pandemic has therefore forced the adoption of new ways of working. A sudden event such as lockdown has also required financial advisers to rethink and explore different ways to collaborate digitally with their clients. One of the options available is Videosign.

Videosign, previously Suitebox, provides the tools to offer a straightforward and intuitive digital customer experience to verify customers, and enable clients to complete digital signings whilst coming face to face with an adviser. Financial advisers can therefore make Videosign an integral part of their business process.

The latest release of Videosign offers various new and enhanced features, including the following:

Document signing and signature tagging

Document signing takes place in a virtual meeting room with no physical interaction at any time. The tool tags exactly where a client should sign on a document, which can then be signed by the client, independently of the adviser or support staff via a Videosign meeting room. Therefore, the administration burden of signature collection is eased for both adviser and client – no more physical interactions or emailing of scanned documents with all client documentation signed and stored centrally. This in turn this leads to increased client satisfaction and retention.

New look meeting room

The browser-based participant video screens are now aligned to the traditional online meeting look and feel, allowing for ease of use and limited support requirements. As a result, more time can be spent in the meeting than setting up systems before the meeting.

Compliance and the advice process

All meetings can be recorded, thereby tracking and managing both the advice process and compliance requirements. Furthermore, clients can also upload copies of ID books and related ID verification documentation.

“We won’t need to drive for an hour to see a client once lockdown ends – and it saves our clients lots of time too. Everyone’s busy these days, this is just so efficient,” a Videosign client confirmed.
