Readers of Moonstone’s newsletters will notice a new by-line on our articles, that of Nettalie Viljoen, who joined Moonstone Information Refinery’s marketing team this week.

The newly appointed deputy editor will assist MIR editor Mark Bechard in keeping subscribers up to date on the latest news and developments in the financial services sector.

Backed by more than 20 years of experience in print media, the former journalist and sub-editor is tasked with writing insightful and well-researched articles for our weekly Investment Indicators and Moonstone Monitor newsletters.

Having worked on both regional (Cape Argus/Cape Times) and community newspaper titles (People’s Post), Nettalie is an analytical thinker who has developed an impressive toolbox of both hard and soft skills, enabling her to see the wood for the trees while not losing sight of the people behind the events, facts, and occurrences that impact the industry.

Her appointment falls in line with Moonstone’s aim to continue to add value to our clients as we grow with the ever-changing world of financial services.
