Moonstone’s master storyteller launches his debut book

Paul Kruger, whose articles informed and entertained readers of Moonstone’s newsletters for two decades, has published his first book.

Paul joined Moonstone Information Refinery shortly after the company was founded 25 years ago and began writing for the Investment Indicators and from 2005, the Moonstone Monitor. He semi-retired in 2021 and retired in 2023.

He left an indelible impression on his colleagues – with his warmth, humour, and unique way of telling stories. It therefore comes as no surprise that Paul is now sharing this talent with the world in book form.

Paul se Stories is a delightful collection of tales – mostly from his and wife’s beloved guesthouse “10 Alexander B&B” in Stellenbosch – full of guests’ antics, funny mishaps, and a touch of mischief. There are also many other stories – some short, others a little longer – about food, friends, and festivities. Sometimes playful, sometimes more serious – and woven through with beautiful song lyrics that add extra flavour to his tales.

Paul se Stories sells for R320 (delivery included). All profits will be donated to the SPCA.

To order a copy, send an email to paulsestories@gmail.com or complete the online order form: https://forms.gle/gbeFkAE37wsue36EA

The book will be launched at 10am on Saturday, 6 December, at the Oude Leeskamer in Stellenbosch. Click here to book your seat. Entry is free, but space is limited.
